Donate in Dave's memory

Dave had a special place in his heart for children who were neglected, abused, or worse. For many years he volunteered his time helping to distribute food, clothing and shelter to those in need...often single parents and their children.  He also volunteered at Boulder County Social Services, facilitating safe meetings between parents and their children who had been placed in foster care.  Having family members who were adopted and close friends who served as foster/adopt parents increased his awareness of the need these families have for guidance and encouragement as they deal with behavioral issues, rebelliousness and sometimes destructive or dangerous actions.  Giving financial support to Defending the Cause,  a coalition of Non-Profit Organizations, each offering unique help and support to  families involved with foster care and adoption, fit Dave “like a hand in a glove”!
