My heart goes out to the family. It is hard to lose someone of Dave’s stature.

He was indeed a pillar of integrity and approachability. He knew how to make people feel at ease and yet challenge them to think bigger things about God. I count myself fortunate to have known him, even though briefly.

Love to all.

Loretta and I will always remember Dave and Betsy. They were so gracious and loving to us as a new arrival from Pennsylvania to the Cary alliance church. They opened their home to us for a wonderful meal filled with love and kindness.

Dave's Sunday school class was inspirational and always very biblical. He asked me to fill in as song leader one Sunday and from then on I felt like I was home as I did that in the church in Pennsylvania. He and Betsy will always be remembered very fondly by Loretta and I.

Looking forward to seeing him again in glory.

Love in Christ,

Richard and Loretta Perkins

Betsy, I am so sorry and so saddened to hear the news about Dave.

You and your family have loved him so well! Sixty years is a major accomplishment but serving God together while loving each other is monumental!

I will be emailing you soon to catch up in more detail, but please know I love you and I'm praying for you!!

Dave was a great man and together you made a great team!

We have fond memories of Dave and certainly experienced his dry wit on our visits to Betsy and Dave in Colorado and California. It was a privilege and pleasure to know him and we look forward to seeing him again.

Love to you all.

How thankful I am that God has given us memories for I have such wonderful ones whenever Dave & Betsy and Henry and I got together. From prayer time to card time it was always a joy. How I cherished their friendship.

And now Betsy and I will be looking forward to being with Jesus, Dave and Henry. What a joy that will be.

Praise be to God.

He will be remembered, mostly from Grace Church, but also, because of his excellent taste in choosing Betsy as his wife.🥰

Dear Betsy and family,

I have said before that you moved too soon! I feel that we would have become very close friends, but you snuck out west too soon. I felt a quick closeness to you and Dave.

We are sad for your loss but of course know right where Dave is... managing some Heavenly affairs for Jesus!

hugs to you as you got thru the seasons especially.

With love,

Bobette and Michael Berger from those Grace E Free days
